How did I get here?

I remember wanting to become an artist at a very young age. I enjoyed watching cartoons and drew a lot like most kids.

I was also exposed to technology very early (I guess most people were). I owned a few gadgets while in primary school and I’ve been creating stuff on MS Paint right from age 13.

As I began to age so also did my interests. I already knew I had a thing for art and technology. The Nigerian educational system can be a mess sometimes, so I ended up doing sciences. To cut the long story short — I survived.

It wasn’t until my first year at Uni as a Computer Science student that I discovered design, and I started with Photoshop in year 1 (2011) with the help of my roommate. Ever since then, it’s been an endless journey of self-discovery, more creative tools, skills, fields, systems, processes, and whatnot.

As I write, I currently offer freelance design services in identity, graphics, web, UI/UX, illustration, and sometimes, print. This will be my 5th year in the industry.

My portfolio of work can be seen here. I’m also on Dribbble and Behance.
