If there’s one word I’d use to describe the year 2019, it will be called growth but let me take you down memory lane through some of my experiences from last year, as seen on my Instagram.
Year of Order
2019 was declared the year of order in my church as you can see here, and I keyed into it. I started the year with a heavy heart but I was still very hopeful towards the plans God had for me.
Bristol Zoo
Part of my goals for the year was to visit more places, and Bristol Zoo was the first out of many.
We The Curious
After some days, I visited the ‘we the curious’ center; a space for science and art exhibitions.
My Brothers
I spent about a week in Gloucester to see my other family.
Project Exhibition
I got to attend the project exhibition by the undergrad students in my department at Colston Hall.
Elim
After weeks of searching for a good church, I became a member of Elim in Bristol.
Snow in Bristol
For the first (and last) time, I got to experience snow in Bristol. It lasted for only 3 days.
Clifton Tour
Made a tour to Clifton with a friend. It was a lonnng day.
Za Za Bazaar
Really chilled restaurant
The Enterprise Zone
Program tour to the UWE Enterprise Zone. Got exposed to new tech and a couple of tech startups at the Future Space.
Easter Weekend
Chilled weekend in Bristol. Good weather.
Wild Place Project
Made some new friends 🙂
Visit to Surrey
Made a long trip to Guildford to see Pamela (my very good friend). She was also studying for her Masters at the University of Surrey.
Lagos break
I was back in Lagos for about a month. Saw my good folks.
Weekend in Sheffield
Got to attend an event in Sheffield.
Alyssa
A new addition to the family – my sister’s child. Her names are Alyssa Oluwapemisire Tokun. Really grateful to God!.
Year 25
I turned 25 with a lot of stuff to be grateful for. I don try for this life.
Trip to Wales
Took a day trip to Wales to see a good friend.
Xmas in Nottingham
Took to a trip to Nottingham to spend Christmas with my other fam.
